What do I need to get my institution started using Torace?

If you are a program manager, we will walk you through this when we set up your institutional account. Basically, we will need:

  • The emails of your event administrators to invite them to the system with event admin privileges

  • A list of your mentor and mentee sites (and approver emails if you are using approvers)

  • A list of the pools you want to use (we will help you create an optimal list for your institution based on how you intend to use Torace)

How do I know if Torace is right for my program?

Torace can be used for a wide variety of educator mentoring programs within an institution or between institutions. There are also a lot of creative ways to use the invitation and matching functionality. Contact us for a consult to learn more!

Do I need to purchase Torace to use it?

Anyone can create a basic Torace Educator Profile, but to be able to experiment with the functionality as an event administrator, we will need to set up your institution with an account and grant you access to that account with event administrator privileges. If you are a mentor or a mentee, you need to be invited by an event administrator in order to participate in an event, but your Torace account is free.

What kind of support do you provide?

We provide phone and zoom support to administrators, and email support to participants. How does invoicing work?

You will receive an email invoice with a link to pay via a bank transfer or credit card. Checks are also accepted. If your institution has other invoicing requirements, let us know at onboarding and will accommodate them.

What is onboarding?

Onboarding is a zoom call with your event administrators. During the call we review and confirm the setup of your institution in Torace, activate the event admin privileges and walk you through the simple steps to setting up your first event. We will also answer any questions you might have about best practices aligned to your program objectives. Event admins can contact us for additional help at any time throughout the process!

Is my data secure in Torace?

We use state-of-the-art, up-to-date, cloud-based safety tools. If you choose to participate in an event, approvers, event administrators and other participants in the event may see portions of your event profile because that information is what drives the approvals, preferences and matching process.
